African Americans in WWII (jan 1, 1940 – jan 1, 1945)

Description:

WWII didn't just influence on women, but also impacted many minory groups in USA. As the need of labours in factories, for military weapon production, many African Americans moved from the rural areas in the south to the urban areas in the north. By this, many African American were barred from joining military service. The NAACP, made sure with the prohibited racial discrimination. In result, African AMericans were now able to serve in segreted units of the military.
