Pope Alexander VI (jan 1, 1431 – jan 1, 1503)
Description:
Pope Alexander Vi was pope from August 11, 1492, to August 8, 1503. He is considered to be one of the most controversial of the Renaissance popes, partly because he acknowledged fathering several children by his mistresses. On the other hand, two of Alexander's successors, Sixtus V and Urban VIII, described him as one of the most outstanding popes since Saint Peter.
