Prince Henry the Navigator (jan 1, 1394 – jan 1, 1460)
Description:
Prince Henry the Navigator was well known for his sponsorship of the expedition of the traditional West African products. This included slaves and gold. He also patronaged the the establishing of the underexploited islands. He saw this a potentially profitable and it was a success after he helped in Madeira.
