Description:
The Leyes de Reforma is the name that was given to a set of laws expended between 1855 and 1863 during the governments of Juan Álvarez, Ignacio Comonfort and Benito Juárez. The main objective of these laws was to separate the church from the state, taking away power from the church and giving more to the people. There were 7 main laws that were stated.
