Zhang He was a Chinese mariner, diplomat, explorer, and fleet admiral during the early stages of the Ming Dynasty in China. He was born on September 23rd 1371, and died in 1433. He led China to become a superpower of the Indian Ocean, and expanded China’s trade locations which led to more income and products. He was a superior explorer compared to his counterparts based in Europe. He also established diplomatic relations with over 20 realms of the Indian Ocean territory. All of Zhang He’s accomplishments represent China at a focal point in history.
