Description:
The Ming Empire was obsessed with exploration and one day the emperor gave an order to build a “treasure ship” that could carry tons of cargo and could help them research items they find. They mainly went to Africa and the middle east, going as far as the horn of Africa in one of the expeditions. They sailed for many reasons, one reason was that they wanted to explore the earth and expand their knowledge. They sailed to learn as well, they sent out astronomers, scholars and other useful people to explore the earth and gain knowledge.Added to timeline:
