Pope Pius IV was born march 31 1499 in Milan. He was born with the name Giovanni Angelo Medici. He died in 1565. Like other popes at that time, he initiated many building projects in Rome, Including the famous Aqueducts. He was elected Pope when Pope Paul the IV died on December 25th, 1559.Added to timeline:
