Description:
Israel was part of agreements called the Armistice agreements gave Israel more land than the Partition plan said they could have. Included in this was Jerusalem. The west Bank and East Jerusalem were annexed by Jordan. Gaza found themselves occupied by Egypt. Many Arabs that lived in Palestine had to leave quickly or were forced from their homes.Added to timeline:
