Hundreds Year' war (jan 1, 1337 – jan 1, 1453)

Description:

The hundred-year' war lasted for 116 years from 1337 to 1453. The long conflict pitted the kings and kingdom of France and England against each other. This war was important for the making of history because technology and militaries advanced greatly, and chivalry was ended. The weapons included longbows, crossbows, and cannons, which all stopped the charges of chivalry. Another great factor of the war was a 15-year-old girl who went by Joan of Arc. She led and The Siege of Orléans on France's side, and won. In conclusion, this war was quite important because of the change it created, from technology to chivalry.
