Constitutional Convention (may 27, 1787 – sep 17, 1787)
Description:
The Constitutional Convention of 1787 was held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by the second continental congress to discuss and decide on ideas for a new constitution. The new constitutions included, separation of power, checks and balances, a federal government, and later in 1791, the Bill of Rights. The Constitution was passed in June,1788.
