French and Indian war (jan 1, 1754 – jan 1, 1763)
Description:
The Imperial powers of France and Britain collided in the New World in the form of the French and Indian war over the disputed territory of the Ohio river valley. After winning the war, Britain had to make up funds by taxing the colonists. This however angered the colonists and lead to revolution in the colonies.
