The Great Depression (aug 17, 1929 – mar 1, 1933)

Description:

The worst economic downfall to ever happen to the world. It started in the United States and swept the world. It started at different times for different places in the world but for most it started 1929 and ended around the late 1930's. the unemployment rate was at 24.9%. A fourth of the nation was unemployed. It was a dark time for the world and since then it has gotten better meaning the economy has improved and there are more jobs in the world but of course there are still problems.
