Cold War (jan 1, 1947 – jan 1, 1991)

Description:

it was a war between the US and Russia. its called the cold war because there never was a giant big battle or a huge blood shed. mostly just proxy wars. some battles would happen like small fights but nothing huge. a lot of the conflict was just grudges held from WWII and a lot of like races for advances in science such as race to the moon and nuclear power. The U.S. also wanted to stop a lot of the communism in the world and Russia was one of the main powers in the world and they were communist so they wanted to put a stop to that cause there influence could easily be spread.
