New Imperialism was when a whole bunch of countries like the United States and Britain started expanding their territories. Some other major powers during this time were Japan, Russia, France, and some other countries from around the world. There are several accounts of this taking place as early as the 1800's and into the early 1900's. This led to a lot of war and conflict during this time.
