The Great Depression (aug 1, 1929 – jan 1, 1939)

Description:

Beginning in August, 1929 for most countries, The Great Depression was a time in which a severe global economic depression took place. Although the timing varied from country to country, It had pretty much lasted throughout the entirety of the 1930's. Although it originated in the United States, the Great Depression caused drastic declines in output and severe unemployment. There were many factors that had a helping hand in leading up to the Great Depression, such as the stock market crash, the dust bowl and even the roaring twenties in itself. It had an agonizingly slow recovery period that took nearly a decade.
