Description:
The Kirtland Temple was finally dedicated on March 27th, after three long years of financial struggle to complete it. A week later, on the Easter Sunday of 1836, within the newly constructed walls of the temple, Christ appeared to accept the temple offering and the ancient prophets, Moses and Elijah appeared before Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery and bestowed the Priesthood Keys upon them.
