Description:

The French and Indian War, which took place between 1756 and 1763. The cause of the war was both British and France wanted to control and colonize right around the Ohio River. The war ended in 1763 with a peace conference. British received Canada from France and Florida from Spain. This treaty strengthened American colonies because of the removal of European rivials.
