Israel Founded (may 14, 1948 – may 14, 1948)

Description:

After the holocaust, many Jews needed a place to live after many towns and city's were destroyed. many of the Jews traveled to Palestine because it was the ancestral home of the Jews even though millions of Arabic people lived there. To solve this problem the United Nations decided to separate Palestine into two separate "states". There was war immediately between the Jews and the Palestine Arabs. Eventually the jews won but there was still conflict between them and would be in the future.
