Description:
On the 1st of November, 1955, America was scared that the Communists would take over the rest of Vietnam. Australia followed the United States of America into war. On the 30th of April, 1975, the war ended by the fall of Saigon, or as we call it today Ho Chi Minh City, the largest city in Vietnam. 58,148 soldiers died and 47,434 of these were Americans and 521 Australian soldiers died. 304,000 were injured.Added to timeline:
