Stolen generation (aug 1, 1910 – may 1, 1970)

Description:

All over Australia Indigenous, People were having their kids stripped from them and being sent away to learn how to be “European”. They were trying to breed them out of existence. No matter your age if you were a child from a European Dad and Indigenous Australian Mum you have whisked away from your family, from your loved ones, from your childhood home. Kids tried to escape but were always caught. They would be whipped and forced to speak English. It went on for decades. People didn’t even care that it was hurting the Indigenous Australian families they didn’t care. They just wanted them to be breed out of existence. This helped Australians nowadays learn from the mistakes and the past and prevent heartache in the future.
