Second Industrial Revolution (jan 1, 1850 – jul 28, 1914)
Description:
The Second Industrial Revolution is also known as the Technological Revolution. Advancements in manufacturing and production technology enabled the widespread adoption of technological systems such as telegraph and railroad networks, gas and water supply, and sewage systems. This period made it so you had to have a knowledge of manufacturing to be able to be paid well where previously all you had to have was a shop and tools. This period also made the rich richer and the poor poorer with worse working conditions. This was the area of change from what work was to what it is more like today. This period ended at the beginning of world war one.
