Description:
The Cold War was a period of time in which there was tension between the Soviet Union and the United States of America. It's called the Cold War because there was actually no physical violence or large scale fighting directly involved. It was more of a competition of global influence between the two. The struggle for dominance over the other was made very clear through propaganda and psychological warfare. It eventually (sort of) came to a close in 1991.Added to timeline:
