World War 2 was a very large and horrific war that involved many large powerful countries. Some of the causes were The Treaty of Versailles, Germany invading Poland, and the failure of the league of nations. There were many technological advances in many of the countries. Some of the main people involved in world war 2 were Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, Winston Churchill, Joseph Stalin, Franklin Delano Roosevelt and others.
