Protestant Schisim (dec 28, 1516 – mar 10, 1521)
Description:
In 1517, Martin Luther published the Ninety-Five Thesis. Four years later in 1521, the Edict of Worms was written which is considered to be the start of Protestantism. Prior to Protestantism, there had been other breakaway movements such as the Hussites in Bohemia and the Lollards in England but none of them had really caught on.
After the protestant split, there began many more churches such as the Church of England and reformed varieties of Christianity.
