Description:
Morphine is a natural Opium Alkaloid. the active ingredient in opoids is morphine. In 1805, it was isolated from the opium by F.W.A Serturner, a German chemist. morphine is used to relieve or decrease pain. it also causes euphoria, sedation and more. it does so by stimulating the chemo receptor trigger zone, the cortex and hippocampus area. in 1853, its popularity increased and was turned into a commercial drug. the hypodermic needle was created to receive morphine straight into the bloodstream.
