Description:
During this era, Europe was plagued by wars over religion. The continent also experienced a new form of ruler - an absolute monarch.This form of king had all the power and could do pretty much anything they wanted. Not everyone was pleased with this, and some countries (like Britain) tried to reduce the power of the king.
