Trebizond offensive (jun 26, 1916 – jul 2, 1916)

Description:

The command of the 3rd Army planned to consolidate the successes with a strike on Trebizond, in order to cut off the 5th Caucasian Army Corps from the main troops and defeat it. The Turkish offensive began on June 13 (26) with a blow from the reinforced 3rd division of the 5th corps to the 19th Turkestan regiment. The 5th Caucasian and 2nd Turkestan corps counterattacked on June 19 ( July 2 ) Ruwiki Caucusus

Battle takes place in the Pontic Alps. Ordered to die p129. Stood within 10km of the black sea by 28 June (p130)
