Noam Chomsky was born to middle class immigrants in 1928, in Philadelphia. At an early age he took an interest in politics, linguistics, and philosophy (Chomsky, n.d.). At the age of 16, he began taking courses at the University of Pennsylvania. He later went on to teach at Harvard and MIT (Chomsky, n.d.). Chomsky is still alive today and continues touch lives every day. He was recently the subject of a Netflix documentary that goes over the current financial inequality and the concentration of wealth; Requiem for the American Dream (Chomsky, n.d.).Added to timeline:
