Justinian I (jan 1, 527 – jan 1, 565)
Description:
The constant and perpetual wish to render everyone their due. The contract of mutual obligation. Parents duty to guard their children matched by a child's duty to obey their parents. Roman law dictated that land had to have a lord to guard it, in return he could expect to be obeyed by those that lived there. This was the matrix that became the feudal system.
