Description:

Much of Vitiate's origins are shrouded in mystery and lost to time, but what is known is as follows:

Following the defeat of Dark Lord Naga Sadow and the invasion by the Old Republic that followed, Vitiate gathered what remaining Sith Lord's there were and sacrificed them in a mass ritual that granted him a form of immortality. Framing the death of so many Sith Lord's as a massacre by the hands of the crusading Jedi, Vitiate established himself as the new Dark Lord of the Sith and led what remained of the First Sith Empire on a generational pilgrimage into unknown space.

Upon founding a new Empire on Dromund Kas, Vitiate ruled with absolute power, building and shaping an Empire with the sole stated purpose of enacting revenge against the Old Republic.
