August 31st to September 1955: Peròn's paramount speech, Military uprising, and Peròn's Resignation (aug 31, 1955 – sep 19, 1955)

Description:

Before his resignation, Peròn made an attempt to mobilize his masses to come out in support and show enemies he still had support. In the speech, Peròn threatened to have a civil war against his opponents, which removed any support he had amongst armed forces. Furthermore, the speech made shows how Peròn still did not have concern for the opinions of his opposition. In that, Peròn was betting on being able to start a conflict. But the strategy failed and would not work, and there were military uprisings in Cordoba in mid-September. The military supported a rebellion that led to an uprising. Peròn no longer had control over Argentina through failing to address the opposition properly. Along with alienating former supporters of his. Finally, Peròn Resigned on September 19th, 1955.
