Peròn's changes the government to gain support (jan 1, 1947 – jan 1, 1947)
Description:
Peròn's changes to the government for support are significant for his political policies and stabilizing his power. Beginning in 1946 Peròn began rewarding people who supported his campaign for presidency, his cabinet and the military. Peròn gave some government posts to industrialists and socialists allowing him to deprive his opposition of support and leadership . To add, within a year of coming into power Peròn abolished the labour party supporting his candidacy for president later forming the Peròn first Party that was dominated by Peròn. A treatment of opposition comes into play because Peròn created some opposition by alienating union leaders. So to relate to a political policy Peròn was successful in creating a system for himself to rule. But it came at the cost arguable in the evolution of populism's ideology.
