Andrew Carnigie (nov 25, 1835 – aug 19, 1919)
Description:
Carnegie perfected the Bessemer process and used it to monopolize the American steel industry. He was at one point the richest man in the world after he sold his holdings to JP Morgan. He then became a philanthropist and gave billions of dollars to charity and libraries.
