Description:
The Mishna is an authoritative written compilation of statements of Oral Torah attributed to various Tannaim (and occasionally Zugot). Competing legal rulings on a wide range of subjects are compared and usually attributed to a particular Tanna. Traditionally, it was compiled by Yehuda HaNasi.(origin of the holidays of Tu Bishvat, Tu B'av, and Channukah)
