Levi Strauss moves its factory in San Antonio to Costa Rica. In response, the workers joined with others the company had laid off and initiated a boycott and hunger strike. The group Fuerza Unida is formed.

Levi Strauss traslada su fábrica en San Antonio a Costa Rica. En respuesta, los trabajadores se unieron con otros que la compañía había despedido e inició un boicot y una huelga de hambre. Se forma el grupo Fuerza Unida.
