Led by Hong Xiuquan; called for the destruction of Qing dynasty & transformation of Chinese society:
- abolition of private property
- communal wealth to be shared by needs
- prohibition of foot binding & concubinage
- Free public education
- Simplification of written language
- Literacy for masses
- Equality of sexes
