The fronde (nov 27, 1648 – nov 15, 1653)
Description:
Series of wide-ranging, uncoordinated revolts that forced them to flee pairs. This is most commonly known as the name of a child's slingshot game. This implied that the participants were childish. These revolts steamed primarly from French subjects objections to high taxes and increaseing royal power.
