This march was signifigant to the civil rights era. This march was from Selma AL to Montgomery AL. Along with the crowds the SNCC and SCLC groups supported this march. When the group was on the Selma bridge, the group was attacked by tear gas from the police. This is known as "Bloody Sunday"Added to timeline:
