30 Years War (oct 3, 1618 – may 9, 1648)
Description:
A destructive war that challenged German authors to write about nationalism, and warfare. These authors, such as Hugo Grotius and John Comenius, were some of the first Enlightenment minds to go against tradition and propose better solutions.
