Description:
The Clergy are a group of people that are ordained ministers in a Christian church that specifically focus on teaching doctrines and practices. Though only .5 of the population was clergy, they controlled about 15% of French lands and performed many essential public functions. This practically forced them to swear allegiance and peace was made.
