The english Civil War (jan 1, 1642 – jan 1, 1651)
Description:
It was a war between the puritans (led by Oliver Cromwell) and the Catholics ( led by king Charles I). Oliver Cromwell had established the New Model Army. Because of the beheading of King Charles I, the war ended and he was named the first king to be beheaded.
