Null Sector Uprising (jan 31, 2069 – feb 28, 2069)

Description:

The King's Row uprising, instigated by omnic terrorist group Null Sector after stirring up unrest in London. Before this, Null Sector has mostly been underground, having existed for a while.

Prior to this uprising, a ceremony occurs celebrating the Turing Green SW0, a planned development in London, in part by mayor Nandah, which was intended to be a new home for the city's omnics, and the first step in improving human-omnic relations in London. Mayor Nandah, Tekhartha Mondatta, and at least two other Shambali monks attend the groundbreaking ceremony. After the uprising begins, the plans for the site are thrown away by Null Sector. The resulting chaos apparently destroys the site and/or prevents its development.

Null Sector was formed as a consequence of the United Kingdom's harsh treatment toward its omnic population. Much of modern Britain was built on the back of omnic laborers, who did dangerous and menial work, but are denied basic rights and citizenship. Omnics are forced to undergo mandatory registration, and are treated as if under military occupation; marched through the streets by armed soldiers, and forced to be scanned at omnic transit checkpoints. As a result, Null Sector enjoys some support among Britain's omnic population.

Null Sector troops include: Nulltroopers, Eradicators, Slicers, Detonators, Bastion Turrets, Bastion Tanks, and OR14s.
