James II (jan 1, 1685 – aug 25, 1688)
Description:
He was an open and devout Catholic, and his ascension of the crown created a Constitutional crisis in England. James named Catholics into high positions in the government.James II's wife was also Catholic, and a son was born. A Catholic monarchy would be a huge threat, and this son started freaking people out.
