Battle of New Orleans (jan 8, 1815 – jan 26, 1815)
Description:
The last battle fought in the war of 1812. Andrew Jackson led his men through the south to protect the port of New Orleans and the Mississippi river. A treaty was signed before the battle started but word did not get there in time. The British commander died as a result.Added to timeline:
