John Hus (jan 1, 1369 – jan 1, 1415)

Description:

Was the leader of the pro-Wycliffe faction at the University of Prague. For his actions, it brought about Excommunication in 1410 and placed under papal interdict. Huss had won an audience with the Council of Constance. He had thought he could convince the strongest critics of his teachings but was quickly arrested and burned at the state in 1415 by the Catholic Church.
