Price Revolution (may 10, 1450 – jan 8, 1650)
Description:
Because of an influx of silver and gold coming to Europe and the population's recovery from the Black Death, there was a huge inflation in Europe. The value of money diminished, and peasants and wage workers were hit the hardest. Merchants, aristocrats, and bankers benefitted because they just raised their prices, but wage workers were still given the same amounts of money and had very hard times.
