Description:
Demonstrations by labor activists, students, and intellectuals in PRC from April 15 - June 4, 1989 about social changes.People gathered to mourn death of Hu Yaobing. This escalated to complaints about government regarding reform, liberty, and democracy. Demonstrations in Beijing resulted in military crackdown on protesters by PRC in Beijing. The government left many civilians dead or injured the Chinese government denies events ever happen despite overwhelming video evidence. This continues to show issues of Chinese government with social aspects.
