Description:
The great depression was the worst economic downfall in the world, lasting from 1929 to 1939. The depression began after the worlds stock market crashed in October 1929. The great depression caused mass unemployment, homelessness and the international trade collapsing by 65%. It took around 25 years for the world’s stock market to recover. Hitler used the great depression to boost his popularity in Germany. The great depression ended in March 1939.
