Description:
It was a slave revolt in which 55 slaves including Nat Turner, where they killed 60 people, a majority of whom are white. The nation was split against those who believe he was fighting for a good cause, and those who vehemently thought he needed to be punished. This event divided the nation once more.Added to timeline:
