Generation Z (jan 1, 2001 – jan 1, 2020)
Description:
In 2001 the Apple Ipod was invented. This piece of technology was used to listen to downloaded music with headphones. Then in 2004, Facebook became a huge social media site. In 2008, one of the biggest computing devices changed when Apple came out with the iphone. This cell phone gave way to internet access, photography, texts and calls. Since then, Apple and other companies have come out with new and improved phones, ear buds, lap tops, desk tops, smart watches, etc. This generation interacts through mostly technology. These things include instagram, facetime, snapchat, and group texting. People gain knowledge by reading websites on their laptops, googling information, accessing online informational resources, and online books.
